This Ethique shampoo bar softens and restores hair using scientifically tested mango seed butter and peach kernel oil. Rice powder balances the hair and scalp, and glycerine works to protect strands while adding shine and nourishment for that bouncy, refreshing feeling!

Long-lasting and easy to use: Each Ethique shampoo bar lasts about 80 washes*, equivalent to three 350ml bottles of liquid shampoo. Safe for colour-treated hair, too.

How to use:

1. Wet your hair thoroughly. 
2. Slide the bar from root to tip 4 - 5 times. 
3. Put the bar down and lather shampoo into hair until foam comes out. 
4. Rinse (and repeat 1-3 if needed).

Keep your bar as dry as possible. It’ll last longer, stay tidy, and be easier to use.

Key ingredients:

  Mango butter is a rich, naturally occurring butter made from soft fats that are extracted from the seeds of mango fruit. It is traditionally used as a luxurious lotion thanks to its smoothing texture which doesn't feel greasy on the skin. It's packed with fatty acids such as stearic and oleic acid and is an excellent emollient for dry skin and hair. 

  Rice has been used in traditional cosmetic applications for decades. Its abundance of skin-loving compounds such as ferulic acid and allantoin pack a multitude of benefits for skin and hair. Powdered rice starch is absorbent, velvety-smooth and is often used as an alternative to talc and clays. It helps to gently cleanse and balance oils without drying out skin, making it a valuable addition to skincare applications. Ground rice also makes for an excellent gentle exfoliator. In addition to rice being an excellent cleanser to help maintain healthy hair follicles and a happy scalp, the proteins in rice also help smooth hair strands to promote softness and shine. 

  Peach kernel oil is extracted from the seeds of peach fruit after they are harvested. It is excellent for cosmetic applications as its abundance of fatty acids like oleic and linoleic acid offer deep nourishment for skin and hair. Non-greasy, silky smooth, and easily absorbed, it is often used as a massage oil.
