History
The lemon fruit is high in Vit A, B and C and antioxidants and was used since the early 1600's as a blood cleanser and to freshen the breath. The Romans are said to have used the lemon rind to ward off insects and freshen clothes. In early times it was used to boost the immune system to prevent scurvy on ships at sea and for many common diseases of the time.
Properties
For Skin & haircare: Cleansing, astringent, purifying and balancing properties for acneic, oily and skin and hair. Exfoliates, tones and brightens the skin.
For Personal care: Research indicates the refreshing and cleansing citrus scent helps clarity, focus and concentration. The fresh citrus scent is also useful to cleanse the environment with an uplifting crisp fragrance.
